The USS Chinook
We are the members of the USS Chinook NCC-71204. We are based in Renton, Washington, USA and are part of STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association (SFI) and Region 5. Our members consist of friends and family from all over the United States. We are primarily an adult crew but we do have a cadet program for interested young individuals age ten to seventeen. Our five year mission is to increase interest in SFI and to help our adopted non-profit charities and organizations.
Our starship is a Nebula Class Variant II and our focus is exploration, humanitarian and other bipedal efforts. Our members have many talents including but not limited to playing musical instruments, web design, organization and categorization, creative thinking and role-playing, exotic athletics, multi-theological backgrounds and military experience.
STARFLEET
STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association is a not-for-profit group based in South Carolina. For over thirty-five years STARFLEET has provided Star Trek fans a way to meet each other, make friends, have fun, give back to the communities, and show that the dream of Gene Roddenberry can live long and prosper. STARFLEET provides a way to bring Star Trek fans together for a variety of activities. In addition, STARFLEET offers members the chance to get involved with STARFLEET Academy, The STARFLEET Marine Corps, The Department of Technical Services, and much, much more.
